About Us

3C Power in Partnership is a community coalition formed in 2021 by the Caldwell County CARES Coalition and Bright Futures Gallatin. We are a non-profit organization created to improve wellness and prevent the use of alcohol, tobacco, and other drugs by youth in our 3 county service area (Daviess, DeKalb, Caldwell) through increased support, education and awareness.

We collaborate with many community sectors including schools, businesses, law enforcement, and healthcare providers. We seek to efficiently utilize existing resources and obtain additional funding to better serve our rural service area.

OUR GOALS

Goal 1:  Education

Deliver evidence-based curriculum to local elementary schools. Too Good for Drugs will be taught by our prevention specialist or provided to local elementary students.

Goal 2:  Prevention

Engage our high school students in the work of prevention through an annual symposium providing them with education and resources to make an impact at their schools.

Goal 3: Awareness

Increase overall awareness in our communities of the importance of prevention in substance use among our greatest assets~our young people~through various media campaigns.

DFC grant

In September 2023, 3C Power in Partnership was awarded a FY2023 Drug-Free Communities Support Program grant in the amount of $125,000 by the White House Office of National Drug Control Policy, in cooperation with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. The Coalition serves Daviess and Caldwell Counties, Missouri, a community of 17,300. The goals of the coalition are to establish and strengthen community collaboration in support of local efforts to prevent youth substance use. The coalition will achieve its goals by ensuring elementary school prevention curriculum is available and delivered, implementing a high school symposium to reduce nicotine and alcohol use among youth, and creating a community center in Gallatin to serve as a hub for community education, support, and alternate prosocial activities.

Caldwell county Cares

CCCC is a group of local people involved to promote healthy lifestyles and activities for youth and families also promoting bonding of friends and families. We hope to offer activities sponsored by the group and the health department with grant money available to increase awareness and prevention of drugs and harmful choices that affect families.
